It's one week since we left Winfield. Wow did that week ever go quick.
Still trying to decide what to do about a vehicle. We thought we had found one but are still trying to decide if it is the right one. We decided to take our time and give it a few more days.
We got a kitten (free to good home and we think we are a good home). She has been mewing now for two days as she misses her mom. Jack and Shelby have decided that she is a good play thing although Jack is pretty rough on her. Shelby is a little nervous particularly when the claws come out. In keeping with our mustang name themes, we named her Saleen.
We had no power ALL day yesterday which made for a pretty quiet day. They are upgrading the power lines here. We went to Cabarete for a drive and our only accomplishment for the day was the purchase of two reclining deck chairs. Nothing happens quickly here - we call it Dominican time.
The heat and humidity sure help you move slowly. The aches and pains are disappearing and other than sore backs from working around the house, we both feel great.
